What's the best thing Joe Strummer ever recorded?
I've always like Garage Land, White Man, and White Riot

More like 'Daddy was diplomat".

All the same Joe Strummer was a front man. It's a shame that his mouth and brain were sometimes out of sync.

Stay Free has always been my favourite Clash track, although Mick Jones sung that one..........Joe Strummer, Probably Bank Robber or Police and Thieves.

I would go for Clampdown as my favourite Clash track, although I am not a fan of the album it came from, London Calling. The US version of their first album is the one I would rate as their best.

I love a lot of the covers he recorded; Brand New Cadillac, I Fought the Law, Redemption Song, and an old Fats Domino song called, Silver & Gold

Rock The Casbah. His voice sounds great on that. I'm fond of Radio Clash and This Is England as well.
