The Specials return to Friars Aylesbury!
Friday May 3rd 2013

Tickets go on sale from the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre Box Office only at 10.00am on Saturday February 16th and on-line/phone from 2.00pm. Tickets are £35 standing, £37.50 for seats and will be limited to two per person on the day of sale. A booking fee will apply to on-line/phone bookings.

Used to be a very popular place back in the 70s and early 80s. The Specials supported the Clash there in 79. Also I believe some if not all of the Bad Manners tracks on Dance Craze where filmed there with The Selecter filmed just down the road at The Pavillion in Hemel Hempstead which was also a a great venue, though sadly bulldozed some years back... Sad

So looking forward to this - last time I was there was June 1980 when The Bodysnatchers were supporting. Probably the best concert I've been to.
