Hi there.
sorry but you flatter me.
The book is by Mr Bushell. Im just a humble researcher and publisher.
Basically its the text from the 1981 magazine. With postscripts epilogues and much more.
several pages at the back taken from sounds of that era - dress like a rude boy for under a tenner - coach trips to marakesh for £30.00 (how long did that take in 1980?).
and 30 plus unseen pictures taken by photographer david arnoff in Los Angeles 1980 of the specials/madness/selecter and The beat.
Its in HMV stores from Monday 12th December and online now at...

Ive had so much fun putting this together. I just hope its as good as I think it is...

Yeh!... Paul thanks for letting us know book sounds great, got mine on pre-order already.
I had that magazine back in the day along with '2-Tone Book For Rude Boys'. I lent them both to a "mate" who then cut them up and stuck them all over his bedroom wall!!!!!!! Never forgiven him...even though he was best man at my wedding.... |

I still have the original Magazine but I will be visiting Paypal later for those unseen pictures, nothing like a good 2 Tone read over Christmas _________________ I'm having bags of fun |

I'm honored to have had one of my photos of King Hammond make it into the book. It means a lot to me to have my work in such a significant text. _________________ I'm Living In A Dream World... |
