Post subject: North America Aug/Sept Tour or just select dates again?
So before the specials even went back home to the UK there was this article
about the specials playing at Central Park Summer Stage (free) on August 22nd.
Also there are dates on Pollstar showing Aug 27 and 28th at Sound Academy in Toronto. (make up dates for cancelled show; i know)
I found a date through ticketmaster Sept 02 in Atlantic City in NJ (close to NYC)
I haven't heard any news or seen more dates to suggest a tour. Am I to assume this is going to be the same as when they came for Coachella? A few select dates and no proper tour? How many sold out shows do they need in the US before a PROPER tour? :( Is the Central Park Show even confirmed 100%?

Designed by Scottish architect Marcus Priteca, the Orpheum theatre in Vancouver officially opened on November 7, 1927.
Should sound good in there. _________________ There's still nothing wrong with it!

awww...why for the name calling? I am a huge fan, and there are tons of American fans hoping they will get the chance to see the specials
Surely if Morrissey can do it in his health the specials can....and by proper it doesn't mean like a full six week tour, but hitting like the top 10 cities...especially east coast, and west coasts.
I did drive 6 hours to see the Los Angeles show, but not everyone can afford that in the shitter the american economy is in. It is especially dire for the younger generations.

I agree, although some of the band members know..which is why I was called a twit at the thought of wanting a full 6 week tour, lol.
Anyways, I saw them in Tokyo twice, and drove to L.A. to see them with my sis but the show was kinda ruined with all the skins fighting. The fighting really ruined the night for my sis.
